Birth is common to us all! As a certified birth doula (Birth Arts International) I am passionately committed to supporting birthing women and families, applying skill, compassion, respect, and joy. With more than six years of experience in Alberta and recently in Central America, I offer evidence-based insight, hands-on guidance, on-call communication, and a view that looks towards the JOY of birth and family.

My service includes one to two prenatal visits, the formation of a birth plan, on call support, natural products such as labour tea and oils, my presence with you from active labour until one or two hours after baby has arrived, and a follow up visit. My educational background includes the Lamaze Childbirth Educator course, a Masters in Education, university studies towards midwifery, and my own experience as a woman who has birthed three times (doctor, midwife, and home). I have served in six Alberta hospitals and supported births with loss and trauma, doctors and midwives, c-sections and water, and everything in between. I am dedicated to empowering birthing women to emerge from the birth experience with peace, clarity, and support.

Note: Supporting families in my own town is a priority in my business and I offer an I exclusive discounted $650 fee for families birthing at the Three Hills Health Centre. I also support births in Drumheller and consider Olds and Red Deer on a case-by-case basis ($850). And yes, you should absolutely add on Birth Photography as I am a professional birth photographer!
